The Realisation of a Dream
- Anu Kurien
It has been the realisation of a simple dream that began one quiet night in Singapore. Three friends – a musician, a pianist and a creative director – were discussing life in this, their adopted country. Together they made some music, wrote some poetry and created a montage of visuals and a storyline which culminated in this video album.
Having never made a video before, they found help everywhere from kind people in Singapore. They borrowed a camera, shot visuals at friends' homes and offices, found a stylist in their parish, a hero and heroine from the neighboring parish and recorded sound in a friend's apartment. The only aspect done professionally was by an editor in Kerala.
This is a low-budget non-profit venture that tested their creativity and stretched their capabilities. They worked hard at their day jobs and spent their weekends in this constructive experiment. It is a test of their talent and a humble offering to the community, open to judgment and constructive criticism.
This maiden effort is a precursor of more creations to come. You are invited to participate in this collaborative creative process and travel along with them in this artistic journey.
With pleasure and pride, we announce the release of our first video album, Snehardramayi.

First, my sincere appreciation to all those, who have worked hard to make your dream a reality.
The photography is excellent and selection of location is great.
I must admit that the theme of this short clip is not very appropriate to what you have shown.
I think you could have made the story a bit more elaborate so that the hideen message in the clip could have been delivered to the views much more easily and clearly.
The songs did not add much colour to the clip.
Rather than focusing on one side of life, you could have added some more life to the whole story by focusing on different ways of life currently we are facing in Singapore.
Over all , you all have done a good job but difficult to get any special mention or grade.
Keep up your hard work and expecting more more wonderful job from your team members.
Best Wishes to all
Jobin, Manoj, Basil, Seema, Soma, Sojini, Sunil etc.....great work.....keep 'em comin'.!!
